About the Founder
I believe it’s important to know who you might be working with before deciding to hire anyone, especially a consulting engineer, so I wanted to share a bit about myself and the company.
Starting my own practice was always in the back of my mind as a young engineer, but I actually founded the company in 2025 a few days after leaving my position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers because one of our project partners called me upon learning of my departure and insisted that we continue to work together through project completion (successfully delivered a few months later).
I graduated class of ‘19 from Texas A&M. During my time in College Station, I was also a member of Heaven’s Eleven, the best outfit in the Corps of Cadets! From there, I joined the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a Cost Engineer, and since departing in 2025, I have worked as a Structural Engineer for residential construction.
I’ve put further details on past projects in both disciplines on their respective pages. Here, however, I wanted to focus on my design philosophy and company mission, which to understand, you must understand my faith and my family. I grew up in the Houston, Texas area, and my father was the Pastor at our church, so my Christian faith has always been central to my life and my decision making. I still live in Houston, but now with my wife and two young daughters who bring so much joy to my life.
So, when I started my company and I was deciding on my central branding and messaging, I settled on Proverbs 28:6, which states, “Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways” (ESV). To me, this means that I do not cut corners, I don’t accept work that I am not confident in my ability to complete, and I do not bill clients for incomplete or low-quality work.
I focus on providing engineering solutions designed to the highest standard of excellence and working with clients with the flexibility I can offer as an independent engineer to meet their specific needs, whether that be in pricing, scheduling, or other unique challenges their project may face.
